Have you ever read the book, 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'? Personally, I have never read it, but the idea of the book is palpable through the title alone. The title suggests that men and women are disparate individuals from different planets. Their physical appearance, thoughts, perception towards a matter are worlds apart. The only mutual thing we share are that both of are human beings. Why are men and women so different? Does the difference benefit us from any way? Most importantly, how is it possible that individuals from different 'planets' are able to build up chemistry in the science of love? Does it suggest that even the most uncommon of things are compatible? I'm no expert, nor am I a professor, but this is my perception concerning this matter.
Before you read, I have to clarify some things. I AM NOT A SEXIST, I'm just giving my views.
First off, I don't really think that men and women are really that different. We both have similar body structure and organs. Well, mostly... Except the fact that men and women possess unlike reproductive organs and women have "inflated" chests... Besides that, i think that men and women are actually quiet similar. The question surfaces when the actions, thoughts and opinions of both individuals are concerned. Why do girls and guys act and react differently? From my point of view, girls act upon intuition. They claim to have a mysterious ability that enables them to sense which action, opinion, person, etc. is right or the better claim. Girls contemplate before committing a particular action and end up concerning themselves with things that will never affect their lives. They normally consult with their closest friends and ask their opinions(no offense, but mostly rubbish advice) before executing their actions. Girls calculate their actions, hoping for lower percentage of risks and a higher chance of success. Guys, on the other hand, act upon instinct. They will do what they perceive as right and will hold on to their principle or belief even when proven wrong. Girls will tend to think that guys are dumb to believe in something that is wrong and inform them that they are mistaken. But guys, being stubborn, will not accept the fact that they are wrong and although sometimes, some guys pretend to be thankful for being corrected, they are actually raging inside. Guys do not like to be told they are wrong, nor do they like to be told what to do. That's a fact that has remained unchanged despite the perpetuity of time. Guys do not hesitate in performing an action. They do not pollute their minds with unnecessary things. They act irrationally at times but that's just another trait of a guy.
Why do girls think differently from a guy? Guys are simple and plain easy to read. They are straightforward and have nothing to hide. They do not have mixed thoughts concerning a matter nor do they try to conceal the truth, which makes them quiet predictable. Girls tend to over-contemplate a matter and bombard their mind with endless thoughts and unnecessary problems till they can't stand it. They think of all the myriad possibilities and make things more convoluted. Hence the dilemma. Girls will not understand how a guy thinks that way and guys will not understand how a girl thinks. Guys are simpler, whereas girls are more complicated. Based on my point of view, i think that girls can be smarter than guys, if they think in a proper manner. Guys will open a box and see the contents with satisfaction, girls will rummage through every object in the box until they are content with their findings.
Why are guys and girls so different? I do not really see the difference between a guy and a girl, but I have to agree on the fact that they are not the same. Could it be that the menstrual cycle girls experience provides them a different approach whenever they encounter a problem? They get occasional mood swings and edgy, as though riding a roller coaster on tracks build by emotions, occasionally going up before plummeting down. Guys are in control of their emotions as though driving a car on a never ending smooth tarmac road with no bumps and no potholes. Could it be that the hormones cursing through the body system of both individuals contribute to the fact they are so disparate? I'll go for the hormone theory, it seems more palatable. But anything is possible..
Now, we arrive on the similarity that both guys and girls share. Guys are attracted to girls almost as much as girls are attracted to guys( Excluding the homosexuals)... It's amazing how the two sexes from different planets can be attracted to one another. It's simply unfathomable. For example, the unlike poles of a magnet attract. They permeate a strong attraction force that binds the two poles together. Similarly for both guys and girls, a strong bond called love is formed when they are both attracted to one another. As we all know, fire and water don't mix, how is it possible that guys and girls are compatible if they are so different? Whatever the answer is, I'm glad that this world is inhibited by both sexes. It brings diversity. Maybe that's why guys and girls are attracted to one another. They are so bored of being around people with the same genders, that they look for some diversity. Guys will be intrigued and mesmerized by girls and girls will be attracted and be amazed by guys. This circle will continue on until one day everyone turns to a homo. Hopefully, that day will never come... I'd like to thank the girls that are ridiculously different than guys for bringing contrast and shedding some light to the guys' lives. Don't ever change and always be yourselves.

Unpredictable
Doesn't it always seem that when you think you have figured out what life is and the impending events to come, a sudden turn of events occur and derail you from your path you have so meticulously planned? Doesn't it infuriate you to see all your hard work and efforts disappear in an instant? Washed away as though it was nothing more but just another mere speck of dust and dirt on the pavement of the street? I'm sure that all of you (I guess it's all right to say all) have at least encountered such misfortune at least once in your life. It is inexorable for all of us to experience it. For example: In basketball, one minute you think you have just dribbled your way past your defender, then suddenly both your legs and your opponent's get tangled together and you lose your footing. Then, gravity takes over and pulls you to the ground with little effort. You fall in an akward position and you hear a sickening,"Crack!"... You moan in agony and clutch your arm in pain. You attempt to move it but no matter how much willpower you sum up, it just doesn't move. The sight of an arm bending beyond its supposedly angle sends a horrific image to your brain. You seem to be lost for a moment in time, trying to comprehend what had just turned into an irrevocable reality. A bead of cold sweat runs down your spine and your nerve impulses run amok throughout your body's nervous system. You feel as through lightning has trickled down your whole body. You become paralyze, numb for a few second, then the horrible truth creeps into your mind until you start thinking: I was just playing basketball. How did I end up breaking my arm?
That was my experience. That was how i felt when i broke my arm. My right arm to be exact. I broke both my arms, left and right. But my left arm will serve to be another story to tell in later posts. I thought that i had tricked my opponent, but almost as soon as i passed him, the unpredictable foot of his caught mine and i flung forward, with my momentum, and pulled to the hard concrete by the unforgiving, merciless gravity. There was no hint that such an accident was abound, there was also no possibility of foreseeing this tragedy. That's how life is. Unpredictable.
Life's unpredictability makes it interesting. If not, our lives would be a dull bore. We would just be robots going through our oh-so-boring daily life routine. Everything could be calculated and there would be no surprises. In truth, we need some moments of fireworks in our life, moments that seem to be bring out the best in life and makes it enjoyable. There are two types of unpredictability that life can present.
A)The Good Type
There are some unpredictabilities that spice up our life. They give us a sense of accomplishment, joy and satisfaction that brings a whole new level of meaning to the word happiness. for example, the girl/guy of your dreams has just expressed his/her love for you. This lucky but not altogether impossible experience is considered the good type of unpredictability because it manages to make you feel as though you are on cloud nine. You get flabbergasted by the news and momentarily feel lost even though you are amongst a crowd. You suddenly get tonguetied and the impact of the words manages to make you feel as though you have the ability to defy all the rules of science and just fly into the sky. Roaming through the soft, moist clouds and feel the warmth of the sun's rays on your skin. What a good feeling...
B)The Bad Type
As mentioned, we cannot hide and avoid the bad things, unfortunate things and the unforeseen disasters and accidents that lurk around us, waiting for the perfect, unsuspecting moment to pounce and catch us unawares. Making us feel its joy in its own sadistic little way. We can never enjoy a bad event that has rendered us crestfallen. No matter how hard we try, it is impossible to act as though nothing has happened and carry on. No matter how adamant we are in trying to deny any wavered feelings, no matter how we try to deny ever feeling that sense of misery, it is etched in our memory like a scar. Visible only when we have nothing to do. Then, the full effects of the incident will come like a wave, engulfing us in its despair.
There is no way of knowing for certain what will happen the next second, minute, day or even year. But we can always look forward to it, given all the unpredictable events that may occur. We should all go with the flow, and let fate take its course and present us with its gifts or punishments. Living life to the fullest is really the best way to tackle all the uncertainties and whatnots in life. Accept the unpredictable events with your arms and hearts wide open. Then, life has more meaning to it.

First Time Blogger
Hi! This is my first time blogging... I don't really know much about blogging, but who does in their first try anyway? Hopefully, as time passes, i will get the hang of blogging. Till then, I'm sorry if you have to bear with my inferior blogging skills...
First off, i have to clarify some things. I'm not the type of person that will share his personal life in detail. Heck, thats what a diary is for. On the contrary, I will just post things that just suddenly crosses my mind. Isn't that what most bloggers do? I will present my perspective and personal opinion on things that occur in our daily lives. Things that always seem to elude our minds. The finer details that make life a mystery and though by today's standards, modern science and technology have yet to decipher.
Well, I don't really know what to say in my first post. I just hope that this is enough. Unfortunately, thats it for now. Till i get my inspiration to write in my blog, bye...
